Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA on this site. We are not going to claim we have fully achieved it, because that claim is usually made by people who have not tested with a screen reader.
What is in place
- Semantic headings and landmarks, so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
- Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, including the menus.
- Visible focus indicators, not removed for aesthetic reasons.
- Text contrast checked against AA thresholds.
- Alternative text on images that carry meaning, and empty alt on decorative ones.
- Motion and animation respect the reduced-motion system setting.
- Form fields have real labels, not placeholder text pretending to be labels.
- Content renders without JavaScript, so it is readable if scripts fail.
Known gaps
- Client logos in the wall are supplied artwork at varying quality. Some are lower resolution than we would like and may soften when magnified.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, the bot check on our forms, is a third-party widget and we do not control its internal accessibility.
- Articles come from our CMS. If an author omits alt text on an image, the page inherits that gap until we catch it.
